Available by reservation, open to everyone, and free of charge, Vaï à la demande is a public transportation service that takes you from any address in the Serre-Ponçon community of municipalities to stops in Embrun, Chorges, or Savines-le-Lac.

Sample Route
I live in Sauze-du-Lac. For example, I can book a trip from my home to the Place de l’Eglise stop in Savines-le-Lac on a Tuesday, arriving between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. And a return trip on the same day from the Place de l’Eglise stop to my home, with a departure from the stop between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
How it works
When making your reservation, please specify the date of the trip, your pickup address, the stop, and your desired drop-off time. We may adjust this drop-off time within the 9:00–9:30 a.m. and 2:30–3:00 p.m. time frames to accommodate other passengers traveling at the same time as you. The same applies to return trips for departures from stops between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
On the outbound trip, the pickup time at the specified address depends on travel time and other passengers to be picked up along the way. The same applies to your return trip home.
When you make your reservation, we will provide you with tentative schedules. At 6:00 p.m. the day before your trip, you will receive a text message with the final schedules.
How do I make a reservation?
I book my ride several days in advance and no later than 5:00 p.m. the day before:
- By phone at 04 92 23 25 23, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Passengers in wheelchairs: wheelchair-accessible vehicles will be available starting February1, 2027
On the day of the ride, I’ll arrive 5 minutes before the confirmed pickup time.
How do I cancel or change my reservation?
By phone or through your user account on the website or mobile app, no later than 5 p.m. on the day before your trip!
Failure to cancel or late cancellation negatively impacts the service and other users. To prevent abuse, the following penalties apply:
- After 2 instances of failure to cancel within a 6-month period: a €15 financial penalty and a 15-day temporary suspension of service
- After 3 late cancellations within a 6-month period: temporary suspension of service for 15 days
