On this page you'll find a list of financial assistance and mobility incentives

#1 Reimbursement of season tickets

Employers are obliged to reimburse 50% of their employees' public transport or public bicycle hire season tickets. In the civil service, the employer's contribution is 75%.

This reimbursement is compulsory, including for part-time employees (50% if working 50% or more; pro rata otherwise). It is exempt from social security contributions.

Only annual, monthly or weekly passes are covered by the employer. Single tickets are not covered.

When several public transport or bicycle rental subscriptions are required to commute to and from work, the employer must cover 50% of the total cost of the various subscriptions.

#2 Jobseekers and people on integration schemes

Mobility assistance may be available to jobseekers registered with France Travail. This assistance covers all or part of your travel, meal and accommodation expenses.

Assistance may be granted if you are attending a job interview, training far from your place of residence, or taking part in a competitive examination.
